| The intent of these groups is to ensure that everyone gets a turn at lighting, camera operation, audio engineering, editing, and project planning. The reality of group work is that people drop the course, get sick, are not equally committed to project excellence, and so on. Essential to the working of families, churches, and workplaces is the skill of simultaneously honoring the group and its individuals. Thus, I am ultimately more concerned that everyone rotates through a roster of duties and learning opportunities than that they each hold a title. To assign one person the responsibility for audio recording does not mean that no other member of the group may touch the boom pole. | |||
