Testimonial for Brian Fuller

As a professor, Brian Fuller is a scholar, an educator, an inspiration, and most importantly, a Christian.  As I have continued in my education since leaving Montreat College in 1995, I have come to realize what an exceptional teacher Brian truly is.  Without question, Brian has the same, if not

more, command and grasp of his subject matter as any of my doctoral level class instructors.

Beyond academic depth, Brian also seamlessly integrates the Christian faith into classroom learning.  Everything he does, from teaching to directing to producing is done for the glory of God.  He helps his students to understand what a Christian worldview is and why it is important.  Brian is helping to cultivate a generation of Christian apologists in a world that desperately needs them.

Most importantly, Brian understands (whether he realizes this or not) that true integration of faith and learning often happens outside of the classroom.  College is a difficult life phase for many and I was no exception.  During some of the most difficult and confusing times in my life Brian was there with a kind word or helpful advice or just a willingness to listen.  Brian is a missionary called by God and his mission field is the classroom.  His involvement in students’ lives is one of the most important ways that he shows God’s love.

Brian Fuller is an exceptional professor in both his academic endeavors and his heart for the students.  He is one of Montreat’s greatest assets. I am proud to know Brian and to call him my friend.
