A small Christian school in Hoboken, NJ is
attracting attention for its progressive integration of fine arts, worship, and community
service. The success of its intentional mission to the urban poor defies the
economic model that typifies many Christian schools. Since the production of art is integral to the Mustard Seed's educational identity, a half-hour documentary about the school's unique teaching techniques might reasonably include segments shot (or even animated) by students themselves under the tutelage of the film's director. The project ought naturally to attract student involvement by both Media Production and Education majors. |
